I figured I'd pass this on who knows what the truth is unless we are there, just passing on all second hand information, I would say it's more like Sea slime just my opinion.

Hi Guys & Gal,
I did get a few phone calls that @ Island Beach State Park, looks like it might be a 5 mile long oil spill from the bathing area south.
The proper Authorities were called and are on their way to check this issue out.
I will keep you Posted.

I was told pictures were already taken by a few anglers.
