Hi Guys & Gals.
Drove to Island Beach State park from sout area 23 to the inlet, not much of any thing going on, the ocean was dead low tide, a good amount of fishing poles in the water.
We spoke to a few anglers whosaid notta all day.
I was told that some short Stripers were caight on the North jetty, and they had some bluefish action and a few weakfish around sledge Island earlier.
23 south seems like from what I was told Thursday we lost a lot of beach, where they had it roped off you can see anglers had to drive up high by the dunes to get in abd out of this area.
A light South east wind, Ocean temp is back up to 60 degrees today.
The ocean is clean and clear, looks like in some areas we might have some seaweed wash back in at hight tide.
From area 12-area 17 there were about 5 different groups of sun bathers and anglers.
In My opinion it looks like anglers are not doing a lot of driving on the beach due to the gas prices, they seem to drive til they fine a good area to fish and camp out there hoping for some fishing action.Thats the best I can do for now.
